CHANGE IN GARBAGE PICKUP
The annual spring thaw requires a temporary change for garbage pickup. The temporary change is necessary to prevent further damage to residential alleys. The City of Iron Mountain will begin street-side garbage pickup on Monday, March 18, 2019 and concluded on Friday, May 10, 2019. Please note that alley pickup will resume on Monday, May 13, 2019. 2018 Tax Collection Season
Every year on March 1st any remaining unpaid taxes are settled with the County. Unpaid 2018 taxes are now payable at the Dickinson County Treasurer's office.

Just a reminder that while garage/yard sales do not require a permit they are still regulated by City Ordinance. Garage sales, rummage sales, yard sales and similar activities may be conducted for no longer than three days and no more than two times per calendar year on the same property. ( Ord. Sec. 74-4. (9))
