Scoring Rubric

Applications will be scored competitively using a rubric similar to the medical marihuana facilities.  A scoring rubric is a tool that will assign specific points for a specific list of criteria established by City Council.  Click to view the rubric.

Applications

The ordinance allows for two retail establishments within the City.  Establishments may hold more than one license type.  The following licenses will be available: Two (2) retail licenses, two (2) grower, two (2) processor, unlimited safety compliance licenses, and unlimited secure transporter licenses.  There are no licenses for micro-businesses, consumption establishments, or excess marijuana growers.

Applications require a non-refundable fee of $1,500.  The window for submitting applications will be between November 7th and December 23rd.

Please note: Potential applicants should study the ordinances and the rubric closely before applying.  Applications will be scored "as submitted".  Licenses will be awarded on a competitive basis using a scoring rubric.  Application does not guarantee a license by the City and the application fee is not refundable to any applicant including unsuccessful applicants.
