City of Iron Mountain to host a Community Visioning Session
City of Iron Mountain, Michigan – The City of Iron Mountain is updating its Master Plan and is looking for residents’ feedback that will help shape Iron Mountain’s future. The City will host an interactive community visioning session to listen to residents’ perspectives on how they would like to see Iron Mountain develop over the next 10 years. The visioning session will occur at 6:00 pm on Tuesday, October 15, 2019 at the Iron Mountain High School, Izzo Mariucci Center.
During the visioning session, citizens will sit amongst their neighbors to brainstorm ideas and provide feedback on what it is like to live in Iron Mountain, giving community members an opportunity to voice concerns as well as to identify what makes Iron Mountain a desirable place to live. Participants will also brainstorm what Iron Mountain looks like in the future, and they will develop a preliminary set of goals and actions for the City to consider over the coming years.
