Public Notice
The City Household Rubbish Drop-off will take place on Friday, May 13, and Saturday, May 14, 2022 in front of the DPW Building, located at 125 N. Stephenson Ave. The hours for the drop-off will be 7:30 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. on Friday and 7:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Please note that the drop-off is provided for residents who pay a garbage fee, so please have a copy of your utility bill and driver’s license available at the time of drop-off. Residents that reside in rental units are asked to file a form through their landlord with the Department of Public Works. The following items are prohibited for the purposes of the Household Rubbish Drop-off: liquid or hazardous waste, freon-containing appliances, batteries, oil, paint, anti-freeze, compressed gas tanks and regular garbage.
